This place is definitely a 5 star bar. I came here on september 2015 and fell in love with the place. The inside is cozy, clean and the atmosphere is VERY relaxed. The only thing that was abnormal was having to order one drink at a time. Not a big deal, just caught me by surprise. The beer is excellent and worth the money. The staff is very friendly and the food hits the spot. What I like the most is that it feels almost like a home instead of a regular bar. Loved the wooden layout. The only thing I hated about this place was that there not in my state.
Very cool english pub with VERY cushy comphy booths like a cadilac front seat.
I love BBC. The staff and bartenders are very friendly. The salads and drinks are delicious.
Welcome back BBC. This whole chain had been sliding into the abyss for five years. We gave up on it, but the other night we gave it one last try and lo and behold, the food was pretty good. Not amazing, but we're not looking for amazing when it comes to pub food, just don't be awful and this was a pleasant surprise. Glad to have another option back in the mix.
New to the area, and am trying new places all the time. The food/service were very good. Had to knock 2 stars off as they were out of my first 2 beer choices, and out of girlfriends first choice. With the word beer in their name, this should not happen.I would go again, hopefully they have the beer I choose in this time.
Food was just OK- the menu is very heavy with lots of fried foods, which is fine if that's what you want, I have had better though. The beer selection is good and I like that it's arranged by style of beer. One of the few places open late (their menu is limited after a certain time) in the area.
Fine selection of beers. Really enjoyed the Sam Smith’s oatmeal stout on tap. Quality buffalo tenders. Nachos seemed a little burnt and lacking cheese, got the chili on the side could be why chips burnt, but good portion of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. Half price apps made up for burnt chips. Bartender was attentive early but forgot to print our receipt and my friend and I were left hanging while they were hanging out having a conversation on the other side of the bar. Nice place to hang out after work and grab a few beers.
Good food and drink. On the pricey side.Apparently they are closing down.Maybe they will bring Chili's back!
Pretty decent for a drink, so-so if you're looking for food. Great selection of drinks on tap and a hefty menu and some staples are very good but some try to be too fancy and don't work. Plenty of seating and not a bad place to bring the kids for lunch.
The food was excellent. I had the fish and chips, excellent portion size. We also had the nachos, large dish, made just the way we asked. Their beer selection was very good, a good British theme, well put together. The decor in the dining room was warm and welcoming. I would recommend a visit, especially since it is easily accessible from the Mass Pike.
Surprisingly quiet. I expected it to be loud but we were actually able to enjoy our dinner and have a conversation. Good food, great portions
Great place to gather for family! I had a Party of 14 and they did a great job. also, but one get one free pizza on Tuesdays are great! many gluten free options as well!
Fun place! Excellent atmosphere and great selection of craft beers. Good staff!
The live performer was awesome. Beer was cold and prices were good. Table service was only alright. Bartenders were very attentive.
Pretzel appetizer was great and no complaints on my meal. Server was also happy to assist with a request about the heat which was adjusted. Good beer selection and overall a fine place to grab typical pub fare.
Went here for a friend's birthday. Our waitress consistently forgot about us and was wiping her nose the whole time. A friend of mine actually asked her to stop wiping her nose and touching our food because he was so grossed out. I got a salad, which was pretty good and the food overall was good. They had karaoke that night, which in my opinion, made up for the not-so-great service.
Usually great beer and ale choices. Craft brews from New England as well as several true British offerings. Food is also good. Some British comfort foods included in otherwise pub menu. Haven't ever had a bad meal here.
Bourbon steak tips are really nice here. :)
Nice selection of beers and a good concept /design. Wait staff was a bit over worked so service was slow and the beer selection, while extensive was pretty light on actual British beer.
OK food. Nothing special. The menu used to be better but they cut the best stuff out of it. Good service and OK beer selection
Went in for dinner on a Thursday afternoon and can't say enough wonderful things! The meal was delicious and my waitress, Olivia, was phenomenal. The Manager, Matt, took time to come over and chat with us and make sure that everything was as we hoped. Exceptional Experience!
This was the BEST chicken and ale pie I've EVER had! The crust was so flaky and delicious. It really tasted home cooked, with huge chunks of real chicken and vegetables. The cheddar mashed potatoes and vegetables were the perfect side pairings too. It was so good I returned back a second time and ordered the EXACT same thing before my business trip was over!
The beer selection is much more than what one would expect from a traditionally British Pub and that is a plus. Something for everyone especially hop loving IPA fans... and the food is great as well. My spouse is from the U.K. and has made several trips back to work through the menu. The Shepherds Pie, Bangers and Mash have received high praise. We have had a challenge with folk smoking in the door way and pub staff addressing the issue... the manage seems receptive.. so hopefully this will get worked out.
Great beer great food, Shepherd pie was great.
The fish and chips were okay. Wish they would have used fresh frying oil. They had live music which was fun. Would definitely go back to try other food options
Clean & friendly, our first time there. The bartender suggested some drinks which we liked a lot. Very comfortable atmosphere.
Great place to go for lunch on a workday because it is never too crowded and the food comes out pretty quickly! Good drink selection and reasonable prices on food. dimly light bar atmosphere
Better than McDonald's but their prices suggest that their food is much better than it actually is. I have given this place several chances. There is no love or pride put into the food.
Cozy atmosphere on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
Great food. Good selection of different types of beer. Service was good even with the place full.I really enjoyed the buffalo dip!
Generally good food and atmosphere. Decent bar. Good place together go to. Took off a star as there menu keeps shrinking (2-3 times so far) , removing good food! If it happens again star gone and reevaluation.
I've only ever been to one other BBC (the one in Franklin). The food+beer is standardized, waitstaff typical of a chain, but the atmosphere here was incredibly sterile. Felt like I was in a 99.
Good food, good atmosphere. I'm a sucker for pub food, but this place is pretty great. I've been here quite a few times with a good friend and it's a good place to warm your spirits. Booths always make the food taste better too, you get to be cozy and hide from everyone else.
Place had AMAZING food and a massive beer selection, many of which were hard to find European beers and even some crafts I'd never heard off...food came out quickly and the staff was friendly and engaging...the music was a favorite of mine as well, good mix of tunes and loud enough to hear clearly, but not so loud that it was difficult to hear people.
Always great food. Well run establishment. Good selection. Service has always been good or better.
The most welcoming restaurant in all of Framingham!! Look for Tammy... I absolutely adore her and she makes the experience of dining absolutely phenomenal!! We have a new favorite place!! (Jessica and Marriana? Are also amazing!!)
I went there for my birthday and even though I have not tried real British food yet (even though I've been to the UK), this is the place for that. I understand that it is a chain but it feels like a family restaurant and not like a chain. The tall server was nice and he got the food on time which was great. Overall, the food is excellent and I would recommend for British food which means I would come back.
Enjoyed lunch in this cozy feeling chain restaurant. My friend ordered the New England Pasty, very tasty, satisfying. I had the spinach and wild mushroom pizza, my fave. We split the spinach and strawberry salad to round out the meal. Service was attentive but leisurely.
Amazing food. Even better beer selection!
Good staff and excellent beer. The food was very good as well. We would definitely go again!
BBC is doing great work to highlight local musicians. The service is great, the food is very good and Hollywood is one of my favorite bartenders ever and with the amount of time that I've spent in bars, that's saying a lot.
Excellent again. Had Cajun chicken wings. The best and hotter than heck!! Service excellent again
I just spent the evening celebrating my daughter's birthday. We had a wonderful evening and Whitney our waitress was charming and deserves a very big thank you for a memorable evening. Pauline W
When BBC first opened, they made a a tiny gesture to serve British food and British Beer. Now the British food is off the menu and the British beer is served ice cold which completely ruins it. It's become a mediocre TGIF equivalent..As I go to London at least once a year, I'll get beer at the right temperature and the right food at a local any decent PubWake up Massachusetts. You are being completely ripped off. Then again, you probably don't care.
So-so service. Food was bland and order was inaccurate. Mistakes were made up for in the check, so that was appreciated.
Great service, beer and atmosphere
Food good, beer selection solid, service terrible.. 1 of 3 maybe 4 parties in the building, had to get our own silverware, sever never asked what we needed, always had to be flagged down despite not being busy, no one else bothered to help, ... Also beer on website not up to date with actual stuff.. Go somewhere else.. Typical of the British to suck so bad... Go eat American ..
I have been here a few times and in the time that has past since the last time I was there standards have gone downhill. The service was very very very slow, or appetizer was pretty good but even though it had just come from the kitchen it was soggy, the bangers and mash was terrible. The sausages we're almost completely flavorless and there was barely any mash! It also took almost a half hour for our waitress to come pick up our check because she was busy fawning over another employees child at the bar. I would pass on this place.
Great selection of beer and a good pub menu. Even the pizza is good. Who knew Brits could make anything other than fish and chips?
The service was a little curt, but the food and live music well made up for it. It was a great time!
